Chelsea L. Monroe joined Richardson Plowden as an associate in the Myrtle Beach office in 2017. She is a member of the Richardson Plowden General Litigation Team. Monroe earned her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2016, where she was a semifinalist for the Zeliff Trial Bar Competition and president of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, Wake Forest Law Student Chapter. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Experimental Psychology, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina in 2011.
Prior to joining Richardson Plowden, Monroe worked as an attorney with another Myrtle Beach law firm. While completing law school, Monroe participated in a Litigation Externship Clinic at the Forsyth County District Attorney’s Office and Forsyth County Department of Social Services. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association (SCDTAA).
