Charleston Office Legal Assistant
Richardson Plowden is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our busy team in the Charleston, SC office. This position will be primarily responsible for reviewing and understanding detail of files, handling aspects of case management from beginning to end, including drafting discovery, document review and document management, as well as producing thorough and accurate legal documents, maintaining written and verbal communication with outside counsel, court officials, clients, etc. and other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of legal assistant/paralegal experience, must be an extremely organized and detail oriented self-starter with the ability to multi-task, display initiative, produce an excellent work product and demonstrate a professional demeanor. Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are required. This is a full-time position and offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
